Delivery times

Most cars arrive 3–10 days after pickup. Coast-to-coast deliveries take the longest. Your agent confirms the delivery date before you pay.

Cost and how it is quoted

Every delivery is quoted separately. The price depends on:

  • the distance in miles from us to your address
  • open or enclosed transport
  • access to your address: a truck that cannot reach your street meets you nearby

Your agent confirms the price in writing before you pay. It does not change after you confirm.

Insurance and damage claims

The carrier's cargo insurance covers the car from pickup until you sign the delivery receipt. If you find damage, write it on the receipt, take photos before the driver leaves, and tell your agent the same day. We handle the claim with the carrier.

What to check on arrival

  • Walk around the car in daylight and compare it with the inspection photos
  • Check the odometer reading against the sale documents
  • Count the keys and check the manuals and documents are in the car
  • Start the engine and look for warning lights

Write any problem on the delivery receipt before you sign it.

Who must be present

The buyer, or a person the buyer names in writing, must be there to receive the car, show photo ID and sign the delivery receipt. If nobody is there, the carrier can charge for a second delivery.

Returns for shipped cars

A shipped car has the same return window as a car you collect. See Warranty & returns. Your agent arranges the transport back and confirms its cost before it is booked.
